The original text described health outcomes — skin allergies and wound infection — that are not backed by corresponding test or medical evidence, and those statements were removed in this correction. The unit is used to suppress bacterial counts and odour in the coolant tank. The current model is the UV-135.
Installed at the coolant pump outlet of machine tools, it irradiates the passing coolant with UV-C light to suppress anaerobic bacteria growth and nitrification reactions, and to reduce odour.
