S.T.P.M Oil-Water Coalescing Module

The S.T.P.M oil-water coalescing separation module is a standard accessory for the entire Ultra series of Green Eco Pro oil-water separators. The patented STPM is made from an oleophobic (non-oil-attracting) material, produced by one-piece injection molding with a special star-shaped design that increases the effective surface area. As oil molecules impact the surface at high speed, they are physically and continuously separated at high speed, accelerating the settling of suspended solids without altering the coolant concentration. It effectively removes the primary contaminants generated during machine-tool operation (leaked oil and tramp oil), preventing anaerobic bacteria growth that causes coolant acidification, spoilage and unstable pH, and improves foul odors.

Cleaning precautions

Do not use detergents when cleaning; clean with water and an air gun only. Chemical cleaners will damage the module and impair oil-water separation performance. Do not let the water temperature exceed 90°C. When placing the module back into the machine after cleaning, insert it with the screw facing up.
